Wait at least two weeks before any car wash, and avoid automatic washes with brushes for about 30 days while the paint fully cures. In the meantime, a gentle hand wash with mild soap and water is fine. We'll give you specific aftercare instructions based on the work done.

As accurate as the technology allows. We use spectrophotometer color reading — which measures your paint's exact shade scientifically rather than by eye — then mix to your factory code in-house and sample-test the match against your vehicle before painting. On metallic and pearl finishes, where matching is hardest, the spectrophotometer and a final blend into surrounding panels are what produce a seamless result.

Black is the most demanding. It shows every swirl mark, scratch, water spot, and bit of dust, and it fades and oxidizes faster under the California sun. Bright reds also fade more quickly than most colors. Lighter colors and silver hide imperfections better and are more forgiving day to day.

It depends on the size and location of the damage, the paint type, and whether the area needs blending into surrounding panels. A small chip or scratch repair is relatively inexpensive; a full panel repaint costs more.
