Terms of Service

This is a basic terms of service appropriate for a service-business website that displays information, collects inquiries, and doesn't process payments online. It's not meant to govern the actual auto repair service contract — that's a separate document (typically a repair authorization form signed in person, which California's BAR has specific requirements for). This document governs use of the website itself.

2. No Service Contract Created by Site Use

Using the Site, submitting a contact form, or requesting an estimate does not create a service contract between you and Dasa Auto Works. Any repair, replacement, or other automotive service is governed by a separate written agreement provided at our shop before work begins, in accordance with California Bureau of Automotive Repair requirements.

Estimates provided through the Site or by phone are preliminary only. Final pricing requires in-person inspection of the vehicle.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, graphics, photography, and design — is the property of Dasa Auto Works or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may view and print content for your personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, or republication, requires our prior written permission.

The Dasa Auto Works name and logo are trademarks of Dasa Auto Works. You may not use them without permission.

4. User-Submitted Content

When you submit information through the Site — including contact forms, estimate requests, photos of your vehicle, or any other communication — you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that information for the purpose of responding to your request and providing our services. We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You represent that any content you submit is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including review platforms, social media, and partner services. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of use. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

10. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Site where appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dasa Auto Works regarding your use of the Site.
